Horny Toad Coin Purse pattern

Did you play with horny toads as a child? If you miss them as much as I do, now you can crochet this unique coin purse shaped like a horny toad. It’s large enough to hold your cash, credit card, ID, and a lipstick or use it as a cell phone case or cigarette pouch. It only takes a few hours to make, so it would be a great craft show item or gift for a TCU fan. From the outside, it measures 6” wide by 8” long. On the inside, it measures about 3.5” wide by 6” long.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Materials needed:
Worsted weight yarn - 3 oz.
Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Yarn needle and crewel needle
Sewing thread to match
Purse frame 3.68” (9.8 cm)
2, 10 cm black plastic safety eyes
